The Dragon class competes in the IV Mediterranean Cup in the waters of Puerto Portals. A high level regatta in which the Dragon monotype class boats compete for the victory in the fourth edition of the tournament. The regatta has a wide participation at a national and international level, with more than forty boats registered.
The Dragon is a sailing boat designed by Johan Anker in 1929. It was an Olympic class boat from 1948 to 1972. The class maintains some 1500 active boats among more than 26 countries, with Germany leading the way with the largest number of boats.
