Last Sunday September 23rd Puerto Portals hosted the 16th edition of the SOS Animal Party, organized by the SOS Animal Association and visited by more than 2,500 people. During the event around 10,000 euros were raised; these will be fully destined to the association with the purpose of improving its facilities and cover costs including food, medication and shelter maintenance.
Puerto Portals’ boulevard transformed dogs into the main characters of the day, from 11am they accompanied their owners and were a part of the family activities like the bazaar, food stands, live music, kids workshops and the raffle.
The dog contest took place from 16pm and gathered more than 70 dogs that competed in 3 different categories: most unique mixed-breed dog, senior 2018 and most friendly pedigree dog.
